Alan is the owner of Woods to Home and craftsman behind every beautifully built piece of furniture. His knack for craftsmanship began at a young age and has always been an enjoyable hobby. Some of the pieces he made in his younger days are still being displayed in the Viaene home today! As others quickly recognized his skill, and one-off requests began rolling in, Alan decided to take his woodworking from a hobby to a business. If he's not in his woodshop, you'll most likely find him hunting the land or camping with his wife!

As the administrator & designer of Woods to Home, Melissa not only keeps the day to day operations running smoothly but assists in the design phase of each project. If you need a piece of furniture to fill a certain function but are unsure of how exactly you'd like that to look or the colors you'd like used, Melissa will offer expertise and recommendations second to none! When Melissa isn't busy keeping this ship in order, she's likely talking on the phone with one of her three daughters, cuddling her dog Finn, or reading a good book.

Megan has always had an incredible amount of artistic talent and puts this gift to use for the décor branch of Woods to Home! She has created a vast inventory of seasonal and non-seasonal paintings. She also takes custom orders which she loves fulfilling! Whether you're looking for a large welcome sign for the entrance to your home, or a smaller painting to display on a shelf, she has you covered. When she's not crafting, you'll probably find her planning activities for, and spending time with, her three beautiful children!

Blake is Alan's son-in-law and as we like to call him, the 'Right Hand Man'. Blake plays an integral role in our processes at Woods to Home and ensures we have the materials needed for all of our projects. He helps cut, mill, and haul all of our wood! When he's not busy at work here, you're likely to find him on his family farm, in the gym, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeye's or running around being 'daddy' to his three munchkins.

Mariah oversees all our our marketing affairs and ensures we're visible online! From the creation of our website, marketing of it, and management of our social media, she does it all! If you've landed on this website it's likely as a result of her efforts. When she's not building businesses through marketing, she's likely sipping a glass of wine on her patio, snuggling her dog, Axel, or scoping the next CO trail to hike with her husband!

Danny is Alan's son-in-law and the absolute brains behind the Woods to Home online operation - he knows what everyone else doesn't. Everything pertaining to our website and online presence, he's our guy. He ensures everything is running smoothly and functioning at it's best! When he's not solving the world's tech issues, you're likely to find him on the golf course, paddle boarding with his wife, or crying over a Detroit Lions loss.

Grace has always loved the camera and has an excellent eye! Naturally, she was the first person we called on for our product photography. She makes sure all of our products are featured in the best possible light to give our clients clean visuals of our projects! Much of what you'll find here on our website and our social media has been shot by Grace. Grace is not only an excellent photographer but is in school full time for dental assisting! When not busy with photography and school, she enjoys spending time with her friends, hunting with her Dad or challenging Danny in a game of golf.
